How much does it cost??”]To join in on the Photowalk is absolutely free. We might stop for coffee halfway through so bring a few rands.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”3. What’s the purpose?”]The purpose is manifold. Highlighting a part of our beautiful city that isn’t often seen, to open up an opportunity for creators to work with the tourism dept and my favourite, to meet with other creatives.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”4. Can models join?”]By all means. I’m a sucker for portraits! Plus, the more people, the better.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”5. What about the safety aspect?”]This was my biggest concern. Visible policing will be arranged along the route for the day. We’ll also be a big group of people which definitely helps.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”6. How long will it take?”]The route has an estimated completion time of 90mins. That includes stopping for photos and taking a really short coffee break. There’ll be opportunities to capture street vendors. The early morning foot traffic of the city centre. The craze of the taxi industry. The old architecture and alley-ways.

What do I get out of it?”]An opportunity to capture a part of everyday life you may not get on your own. Meeting other local creatives. A chance to win something, courtesy of NMBT (to be revealed later).
