When you look back on your wedding day, you want to have zero regrets. I am not referring to whether you wish you may have selected a different colour scheme for your bouquet. I am talking about real-life stuff, like dealing with pushy family members, feeling anxious and stressed about the planning details, and not feeling like you could truly be yourself on the wedding day.
I hear “I wish we had done this, that or the other” a lot, and it makes me so sad. It’s not easy, but the best thing you can do is to let go of the pressures from society, family, and friends and consider what you both truly want on your wedding day. What will make you feel happy, safe and loved? What will make you feel like your truest selves?
